Alicia Harmon is Arbor’s COO, overseeing day-to-day operations while shaping the company’s long-term strategy for scale. She leads internal operations, finance, marketing, and organizational development.
Before Arbor, Alicia served as COO of Edmodo, a global education platform that connected more than 100 million students and teachers. During her tenure, she guided the company through rapid transformation during the COVID-19 school shutdowns, transforming the company from a consumer-focused, teacher-based platform to a comprehensive classroom tool deployed by school districts, states, international governments, and private organizations to ensure continuity for teachers and learners during a period of global disruption.
Earlier, Alicia worked as a consultant at Deloitte, advising organizations including Chevron, Exxon Mobil, and Toyota, and has spent over a decade working with startups from seed to pre-IPO stage. She began her career in political fundraising for municipal and federal campaigns, with a focus on education and conservation.
Alicia holds an MBA from USC and a B.S. in Media Studies from the University of Colorado. She cares deeply about protecting the legacy of our planet for her two young daughters.
