Andres Garcia-Clark

Andres Garcia-Clark leads Arbor’s engineering organization and the technical evolution of its power systems, bringing deep expertise in turbomachinery, high-efficiency combustion, and large-scale power generation.

He joins Arbor from SpaceX, where he spent five years as Principal Turbomachinery Engineer, leading R&D for the Raptor engine’s full-flow staged combustion turbopumps from clean-sheet design through to flight-ready hardware. Earlier in his career, Andres spent a decade at GE Power (now GE Vernova), where he held senior design and corporate technology roles. His work focused on high-efficiency gas turbines, including the 9HA02—the world’s largest gas turbine—and developing advanced ceramic hardware designed to reduce fuel use and CO₂ emissions.

Andres holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a B.S. from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez.
